My name is Nathanael Ghez, and I am currently a college student at the University of Connecticut majoring in finance. I was born in Paris, France, and moved to the Greater Philadelphia area in 2014.
Academically, I’ve always been drawn more to mathematics than literature, the kind of student who would skim a novel to understand the core ideas while diving deep into numbers and logic. From a young age, I knew I wanted to study finance. Yes, while others still dreamed of space travel, I was already thinking about investing and portfolio management.
I’m ambitious and goal-driven, with aspirations to build a successful career in the finance world. At the same time, I’ve always valued staying informed and engaging in critical thought. My writing journey began in 10th grade when I wrote about sports for my high school’s newspaper.
Now, through FTMnews, I’m turning that interest toward broader, more important issues. I don’t claim to be an expert or a professional writer — I just want to provide clear, well-researched, and accessible insights that help people make sense of the world around them.
